Our Sustainability Certifications
100% Certified Pillows
Our Reputation in the Bedroom is Important to Us!
So we keep our standards high by ensuring our pillows and pillow accessories are non-toxic, eco-loving and sustainability produced. Our goal is to foster a healthy bedroom environment that promotes sustainability. To this end, the following is transparent information on our certifications.
Our Eco-Institute Certified Natural Latex Certification
Safer for you. That’s what our eco-INSTITUT certification means. The meticulous German organization leaves no doubt as they analyse products based on the most strict requirements for pollutants and emissions. The Eco-INSTITUT label verifies that our latex contains no harmful substances, no non-natural rubber content, and meets stringent standards for emissions (VOCs, formaldehyde, and acetaldehyde). This recognizes the 100% natural status of our latex from harvesting the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing before it reaches your bed!
PETA-Approved Vegan
We’re excited to be among 1,000+ retailers worldwide that are using the “PETA-Approved Vegan” logo. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than 6.5 million members and supporters.
No animals were harmed in the making of our Natural Latex Pillows. Some rubber trees were tapped but they don't mind. Allowing your special animal to sleep on your enVy™ pillow will continue with our mission to support their health and well-being :)
All deliveries are Carbon Neutral
enVy™ Pillow is dedicated to neutralizing our shipping emissions and removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Carbon removal is the process of capturing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and then storing it.
For example, if a truck or a plane that delivers your shipment releases 1 kg of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere then we ensure that 1kg of CO2 is also sucked from the atmosphere and stored away using solutions and technologies in the Shopify Sustainability Fund.
Our Carbon Neutral Certification
To minimize the effects of climate change, we all need to significantly reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions. PAS 2060 is the only internationally recognized standard to verify a company's carbon neutralized achievements on operations and products. Control Union provides verification of a products carbon footprint and the measures taken to reduce carbon emissions.
OEKO TEX Certification
OEKO-TEX Certified Free of Harmful Substances
Our 100% natural certified Latex, eco-soft TENCEL™, pure Silk and undyed cotton liners and our organic Hemp have received STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®: Class 1 certification which is suitable for babies and toddlers (Certification # BJ025 120752). That means they've been tested in a lab to be safe from allergenic dyes, pesticides, chlorinated phenols, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and chloro-organic carriers and many more that could be harmful to humans.
USDA BioBased Product
Our TENCEL™ Lyocell pillowcases and liners are produced from wood pulp from sustainably managed sources, a renewable resource. They have earned United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) BioPreferred® designation.
